First Week of November

My time left on maternity leave was quickly fading so I tried to do as much as I could with Max before I had to go back to work.  Here's some pictures from that week...

Peter and Max.  He loves cheek to cheek time.
We had Brittany and Joe's family over for dinner.  Joe was helping out by holding Max and goes "I feel some movement, I think he pooped."  When he moved Max we realize that Max DID poop - he leaked out of his diaper all over Joe.  Poor Joe - he was such a good sport about it.  See the big smile on his face?  He laughed.  (Whew)
Max and I ventured out to lunch with one of my co-workers who is expecting her first baby.  He was so good!  I timed it perfectly where he was tired and fell asleep in the car on the way there.  Then, he slept through most of lunch and woke up towards the end to give us a few smiles.  However, he was HUNGRY by the time I dropped her back off at work.  So, we found an empty parking lot and I fed him.  It just wasn't worth driving him with him screaming in the back.  I love how happy he is after he's eaten.  We get some good play time in after he eats.  I took some pics in the car - notice how the sun basically reflects off his nearly bald head.  Good grief, this cute boy need some more hair!

Max getting some play time in with his dad.
It's so much fun to hear how the sounds Max makes are changing.  Here's some of the cuteness we get to enjoy when playing with him.  Watch the movies and enjoy.

One night he fell asleep on Peter so we laid him down just like he was without swaddling him.  This is how he spread out.  Little guy is not used to have such freedom while he sleeps.
My Aunt Tammy (who is so kind and generous and deserves the blessing of heaven raining down on her) bought us this Baby Bjorn (baby carrier).  It takes Max a few minutes to warm up to it each time we put him in it.  Here he is making breakfast with his daddy.  I love it when I can put Max in it because it frees me up to get stuff done with two hands!
