Plano Balloon Festival 2014

From September 2014:
I think Maxwell is just so handsome!  I know I'm a little biased.  (Although sometimes if we don't do his hair it's hard to see the handsome little guy behind all that crazy hair!)

Video - I always joked that if my kids started to have a Texan accent that I would immediately move out of state.  Well, it doesn't help when your husband thinks it's funny to teach them to talk that way.  This is how Peter taught Maxwell to say "sausage"

At school

I love his profile (it's because he didn't get my nose - I HATE my profile)

Always smiling

Uh oh.  She rolled over in her sleep.  Growing up so fast.

We went to the Plano Balloon Festival.  We figured Maxwell was big enough he would enjoy it.  Britt and her boys also came along.  They didn't stay the whole time which is too bad.  It was a lot of fun.  Maxwell really liked going to the booths and getting free stuff (i.e. Crap - although one booth gave him a little bear puppet that he absolutely loves and has to have when he's sleeping)

He didn't want to do any of the kids activities but I got him to at least color a little bit on the banner.

It's cool to watch them blow up all the balloons

Maxwell used a port-a-potty for the first time.  I was worried it would be a big deal, but it wasn't.  Whew.

The only picture I got of Brittany.  Hayden is upset behind the stroller.

Watching the "Glow" at night.

They do a countdown from 10 when they are going to have all the balloons do a "full burn" or a "twinkle burn".  Maxwell was excited to do the countdown each time.

Video - twinkle burn

It was HOT (can you tell how how she is? :()

She liked to watch too

She's got a good profile too!

Silly face selfie

Maxwell eating (I think) his first funnel cake.  Of course, he loved it.

Hanging out taking a break after we found a quiet, less busy place to nurse.

It was a late night but a lot of fun too.  We brought both strollers so that we wouldn't have to be carrying kids around which was nice but also a hassle to navigate through the crowds and on the grass.
