For his birthday this year, we told Maxwell that he wouldn't get a big party like he had last year. However, he could pick an activity to do with Brittany's family and then we could have a few people over for cake and ice cream.
He chose to go to Top Golf.
Getting his own balls
He was very serious about his swing and didn't want to have help
It was hot and this little girl just kept running all over. I was glad we had gotten a bay on the ground floor so I didn't have to stress about her running away AND Maxwell falling over the edge.
At home we had our neighbors Chris and Mary Ann and their son Jared plus Melissa, Clint, Owen, and Avery over in addition to Brittany's family for the doughnut cake and ice cream.
He had an awesome first big blow but was too far away from the doughnuts to get the candles out. So we scooted it closer and his method shifted more into short blows to get each candle out. :)
He opened presents in front of everyone
The kids all had fun playing the "go fish" game
Playing with Maxwell's first set of the little, "real" Lego's!
We wrapped up the fun day with a walk to the park
Two kids swinging
Down the slide, head first.
