Halloween Festivities

We pretended to have a picnic together.
Any time these two play nicely together, it's required to take a picture.

video - Who knew that Maxwell had such skills?  He's either going to be a master swordsman or a guy who goes clubbing quite frequently... (maybe also a fire dancer??)

Emmalyn had her 18 month check up.  I can't believe she's this old!

Here is her questionnaire

The visit with the doctor went fine.  He thinks shes gaining weight too fast so suggested that I move to 1% milk instead of whole milk now.

Here's Emmalyn's Stats:
Weight: 21 lbs 11 oz (37th percentile)
Height: 30.3 inches (8th percentile) - still going up!
Head: 18.3 in (54th percentile)

After her appointment, I took her out to chik-fil-a for breakfast.  I can't remember ever taking her out to eat, just the two of us, before.

All ready for Halloween!

We were able to catch up with my dear friend (and old boss) Colleen, who was in town for meetings at corporate).  We went to cheesecake factory and enjoyed our visit!

Me, as a pirate, and Donna as a witch at work

The kids came up and trick-or-treated again this year.  Maxwell wanted to be a cowboy at Momma's work (he is going to be a pirate for Halloween along with Emmalyn and I).

We ran into our new CEO who enjoyed engaging with my kids

She quickly caught on to the gig

That night we had the carnival at Max's school.  He was again a cowboy. - - Here he is going to go through the ring of "fire".

They had a henna artist there so Max and I both got our first henna tattoo.  It was really cool!

What it look liked while it dried

What it looked like after.  Max's tattoo said his name.
