Memorial Day at the Lake

On Memorial Day my friend from work, Chad, invited us to go out on his boat. I haven't been out on a boat like this since I graduated from high school. It was HOT (it has already hit 100 degrees here - ugh). I brought lunch and we had a great time on the lake Joe Pool.

Here's me being brave enough to go tubing - a little scary at first since it's been over 10 years but still fun...although probably less fun since I'm a chicken and would just let go rather than face a bumpy ride.

Peter hung out in the boat the whole time (but the next time we went out with Chad he did go tubing).

It was a lot of fun and a great way to spend a hot, summer day!
