That's how much time I spend here in the room below every day, Monday - Friday. It is a nice space and I feel very lucky that CROSSMARK had a designated, private room with all these amenties for nursing moms (and also feel lucky that I have an office with a door I can close in those times where I don't have time to go downstairs or need to be on email, etc). There's a sink, soap, paper towels, fridge, plenty of space in the cabinets (although I don't usually use those), lots of counter space, and a comfy chair with a little table. I usually visit at 9 am and 3 pm.
While it's certainly not convenient to pump at work twice a day, I do enjoy being able to take a break from the stresses of the day, go to a quiet room, and do something for Max. Sometimes work tasks have overtaken this hour...I have taken a few conference calls(while on mute naturally) or had a few "team" meetings with one of the other directors on my team who is pumping as well or texted answers to my employees' questions or read work email on my phone. It's worth it though.
What a nice little area. We have a mother's room at work too. It is so super nice that work place understands this need for work/life balance.
