Video - Peter stayed home from work on July 5th and he and Max sent me this sweet message at work. Made my day!
Video - Here are some of Max's dance moves. Can't watch this without laughing...he's funny. :)
We had our friends Tida and Jason over for dinner and games. It was fun to entertain and put together a yummy dinner (with Brittany's help, of course)!
Tida, an amazing pastry chef, brought some of her delicious macaroons for dessert. We enjoyed them along with a boisterous game of Mexican train. We all stayed up quite late because we were having so much fun. They ended up sleeping over which was fun because then we got to spend more time with them in the morning.
It was fun that Kimberly was in town because when Tida and Jason lived in Vegas, we introduced them to Kimberly and they all became friends too.
Tida whipped up a delicious breakfast. She is so talented in the kitchen!
That afternoon we headed to check out the new Perot Children's Museum in downtown Dallas. It was awesome. We only made it to 2 sections of the entire museum. Here's some of all the fun things the kids got to do:
You stand in front of the white screen, make movement...
...and your movement shows on this side with all the tiles
Programming a robot
It was a fun filled afternoon. We were all tired out! Can't wait to go back and see the rest of the museum.
Hayden wanted to join the family pic
That night we played some more Mexican Train. It is so fun having Kimberly around. Plus, it's nice that we are all in one house and can make the most of our time together!
