Halloween 2015 - A pirate says "ARRRRRRGH"

Halloween was on a Saturday so we were able to have a fun, full day before we got to the trick-or-treating.

Emmalyn and I went to Kindermusik.  She was festive and sort of looked like a cat.

The kids with Miss Julie

Max got a hair cut

Woah - who is this kiddo!?

He looks so much older with hit hair cut.

Lunch with their Halloween cups

Daddy and Emmalyn playing

We all went to the library.  Max got a little time on the computer (he is always asking to be able to get on there)

Reading with dad

Our tattoos still look good.  From this perspective you can see Max's name and his smiley face.

Pre-trick or treating pictures.  Here's my two cute pirates!

Bad shadow but I think it's so cute how she's look at Maxwell.  She loves her big brother.

First and best stop - visiting Mary Ann and Chris

(From later than night when we were coming back home)

We walked a bunch with our next door neighbors Logan, Karen, and Mike

Avery, Emmalyn, and Maxwell at the neighborhood party

That's a lot of neighborhood kids!

How cute are these two??

They were so sweet

Emmalyn did great!  She only took one piece and did great at saying THANK YOU.  Max and Peter were moving much faster so they were far ahead of us before long.  So we were split in half nearly the whole night.

Back at home

She chose a sucker for her one piece of candy for the night

I had much enjoyment from sorting the candy from tonight and yesterday's party at work.

Halloween Festivities

We pretended to have a picnic together.
Any time these two play nicely together, it's required to take a picture.

video - Who knew that Maxwell had such skills?  He's either going to be a master swordsman or a guy who goes clubbing quite frequently... (maybe also a fire dancer??)

Emmalyn had her 18 month check up.  I can't believe she's this old!

Here is her questionnaire

The visit with the doctor went fine.  He thinks shes gaining weight too fast so suggested that I move to 1% milk instead of whole milk now.

Here's Emmalyn's Stats:
Weight: 21 lbs 11 oz (37th percentile)
Height: 30.3 inches (8th percentile) - still going up!
Head: 18.3 in (54th percentile)

After her appointment, I took her out to chik-fil-a for breakfast.  I can't remember ever taking her out to eat, just the two of us, before.

All ready for Halloween!

We were able to catch up with my dear friend (and old boss) Colleen, who was in town for meetings at corporate).  We went to cheesecake factory and enjoyed our visit!

Me, as a pirate, and Donna as a witch at work

The kids came up and trick-or-treated again this year.  Maxwell wanted to be a cowboy at Momma's work (he is going to be a pirate for Halloween along with Emmalyn and I).

We ran into our new CEO who enjoyed engaging with my kids

She quickly caught on to the gig

That night we had the carnival at Max's school.  He was again a cowboy. - - Here he is going to go through the ring of "fire".

Photo booth

They had a henna artist there so Max and I both got our first henna tattoo.  It was really cool!
