The rest of September

On the 23rd, Max slept outside the newborn bassinet for the first time.  We still have him in the pack-n-play in our room because it is so much easier for those middle of the night feedings to have him right there.

Max was so perfect while we car shopped. He slept most of the time. Lots of sleep during the day made for awful nights though. I was glad when we were done with all the test drives and Max could stop spending so many hours in his car seat.

On the 27th, Max wore his last newborn diaper.  He's was upset about it as I was but for different reasons.  :)  He was in newborn diapers for 5 1/2 weeks.  My little boy is getting bigger.

There is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!

Joe switched to working at a new In-N-Out store.  Before a new store opens, they have a friends and family night the evening before where you can eat for free.  I wasn't able to go to the last one, so there was no way we were missing this one!  Max and Landen both wore their In-N-Out onesies - they were a hit! I loved my food, as usual and got a tour of the restaurant.  I felt pretty cool to get to behind the counter and in the backroom.  We had a lot of fun - thanks for inviting us, Joe!

The 30th - Max is officially 6 weeks old!  It's amazing that it has been that long already.  I love seeing how much Max changes and grows every day.

This movie is sort long but it shows so many of the different faces he makes and you get to hear a bunch of fun different baby sounds.
