Here's the cute pictures I took during lunch at Brittany's in the week after Max turned 6 months old.

6 months old!

Max turned 6 months old on February 19.  I am seriously in disbelief that it's been half a year!!!

Max started out his morning reading a book.  He loves being read to but is also happy to hold the book himself and look at it.  If he's ever fussy, just read him a book and he immediately calms down.

We went out to dinner with the Mejia's to Macaroni Grill.  Max hung out for awhile in a high chair - big boy!  He was quickly bored though, even when I hooked a toy onto the high chair.  Hopefully he will learn to hang out there longer.  It's nice to eat without holding him. 

After dinner we went to the Mejia's and played some Uno.  Max wanted to play too so he was Peter's helper.

A few things about Max...

• He now leans over with his body towards something if he wants it (which can be pretty precarious if he's in your arms and all the sudden leans over and throws his weight towards a toy on the floor)
• He grabs his toes like a pro
• He has some really really really stinks farts.  He has a tendency to let those go while he's nursing and I can't get away from the stench.  :)
• He has learned how to bite, which I so joyfully got to experience while he was nursing.  We are working on teaching him NOT to do that.  (Oh, I wish he didn't teeth early!)
• He now will reach for and kiss Peter's face when he's on his lap.  He's done that with me for a bit but had done it yet with Peter.  I love watching it!

Catchin' Flies

"Catch Flies" Phrase Definition - An ostensible product of awkwardly having one's mouth open wide.

"You'd better close your mouth; are you trying to catch flies?."

Note - I DID NOT let him watch that entire movie.  Maybe a few minutes total because of the funny way he was reacting to it.  I wonder what he saw that elicited that reaction???

Video - Max is getting closer to crawling.   He's starting to get his rear in the air and get in the "position".  He cracks me up with how frustrated he gets and then how he puts his head down in frustration.

Video - Max is upset because Landen was bothering him.

Video - (This wasn't at Brittany's house but oh well, it fits with the previous video of him being mad) He switches back and forth from being mad and happy.  I think he's just experimenting with what noises he can make.  I love when he starts screaming quietly - funny baby.

Max is really interacting with his cousins now.  It's really cute to see Hayden ask to play with Max and want to love on him.
