GoldiMAX and the 3 beds

This is the tale of Max and his 3 beds...

Bed #1 - Momma's bed.  This bed is all about smiles and cuddles and spoiling my Max.  This is the place in the evening where he falls asleep with Momma humming in his ear (and then usually gets moved from).  This is the place where his parents dote all over him first thing in the morning before we go to work.  This is the place where the bedtime stories are read.   

#2 - Pack N Play in Momma's room.  This bed is the place that Max spends most of his time sleeping.  It's also the place where sometimes he quickly wakes back up and starts crying for someone to pick him up.  It's the place where his parents watch him on the web cam in the middle of the night to make sure he's okay.  It's the place where he's started to arch his back and roll to his side.  It's the place where sometimes he lays and gets "rocked" to sleep by moving the bed back and forth.  This is the place right next to the white noise machine that blocks out so much sound.

This is one of the very rare times Max has fallen asleep without being swaddled.  When I put him down, his leg was all snapped up in his pajamas.  When I went to check on him - there it was, all popped out of his PJs.  What a funny boy - How did he do that?

Bed #3 - This is Max's Crib in Max's Room.  This is the bed Peter so carefully put together in anticipation of our baby's arrival.  This is the bed we shopped and shopped and shopped for and deliberated and deliberated and deliberated over.  This is the bed with the cute overpriced bedding.  This is the bed that has yet to be used as a bed.  :)  It's a place to put blankets or stuff to take back to the store.  It's a place to leave toys and every so often a place for Max to play for a couple minutes.  But not a place to sleep.
