Thanksgiving cruise with the Footes - Part 5 Thanksgiving

Some of the pics we have taken so far...

Our second to last full day on the boat was Thanksgiving! We got quick a lot of things in!  We all had breakfast in the dining room rather than the buffet.  Unfortunately we let Emmalyn have some ice cream before we ate (ice cream leads to bad things digestively in my family...) and so she had a blowout at breakfast that I had to deal with.

While the kids napped with Peter, I stayed out with the Foote's.  We enjoyed played cards and then had lunch.

After they woke up and ate, we dropped the kids off at the kids club for an hour.

Other fun things we did today: played mini golf, tried to find these little rubber duckies hidden all over the ship, and did some trivia.

Gorgeous Day

We got dressed up for dinner and Peter got some room service since we hadn't done it all trip.  We also tried to watch a little of the Cowboys football game.

Since we were all dressed up, we took some photos.

The whole group

Fancy dinner

Dinner took FOREVER.  Seriously, most people during our seating had finished and left by the time we got our entrees.  I know it was Thanksgiving and everyone wanted the same thing but come on, they should have been better prepared.  It was sort of a traditional turkey dinner but with a twist.  It didn't end up being very good.

Entertaining the kids during some trivia

We were only passing time until it was time for karaoke! No one was really into it tonight so it was just Max and me while everyone else went to do something else.  Maxwell did a song by himself and then everyone showed back up.  Maren, Emmalyn, Maxwell and I did "Let it go" from Frozen.
Then Maxwell did "shut up and dance".  There weren't a lot of people in there but when it was time for Maxwell to sing, people passing the room would come in and watch.  (I had a woman stop me in the bathroom and ask me specifically if my son was going to do karaoke because they were only coming to see him sing.)  He definitely drew a crowd!
