The Circus Came to Town!

Yeah!  We went to the circus with our neighbors - Melissa, Clint, Owen and Avery.  I can't think of the last time I went to a real circus so I wasn't sure how it would go and if Maxwell (or Emmalyn) would be entertained.  We also took Landen with us.

The circus started pretty late so it wasn't long before Landen knocked out.  He spent most of the first part of the show like this:

Maxwell stayed nice and engaged - - - the cotton candy probably helped.  :)

During intermissions the boys each got a toy.  They were pretty excited!

Emmalyn watched a lot of the show before she finally fell asleep.

Video - Motorcycles in a cage - it was CRAZY!

Maxwell was so nervous watching the motorcycles - - he sat there, barely able to watch, with his fingers in his mouth.  It was pretty cute how into it he was.  (I was trying to cover Emmalyn's ears so that she would stay asleep.)
