Max was ready to go with his bag of treats, water, wipes, and diapers.
He was upset when we dropped him off and walked away. I went back a few minutes later to check the video feed of the kids rooms and check on Max. He had calmed down and was watching tv with a couple other kids. The staff had given us a cell phone that we could use on the ship to call and check up on him. It was a pretty cool system but would only work when we were on the ship.
Ready to go swim with the dolphins!
Not sure why Peter took this picture. I'm sure it's a picture of me stressing about leaving Max on the ship. I am clearly not a pro at leaving my son with a babysitter. :)
It was pretty cool to "swim" with the dolphins. I was glad we did it once and it was certainly a special experience but it will be a one time thing. We don't need to do it again.
We all got to do all these tricks with the dolphins but I am not going to post pictures of every single one of us doing every single thing...you will get the idea.
After we finished the excursion, we went back to the ship to pick up Max and go enjoy a beach.
This is what we found on the cameras when we went back to pick him up...
He seemed to be having a good time playing with the kids. I was glad to see he wasn't still watching tv. He was pretty excited for us to get him out of there though.
I don't remember the name of the beach. We rented some chairs and an umbrella.
Max got to work checking out the sand
One side of the beach
Other side of the beach
Peter was the first one in the water
Cute little toes peeping out of the water
Video - Max had a lot of fun running into the ocean.
I taught Max how to make sand castles with his bucket. He had fun trying to make them on his own.
Fruity vacation drinks!
Pina Colada...a beach...sunshine... Yes, please!
That's our boat in the distance
The ship dwarfed everything on land
Lots of hills (mountains?)
Tuckered out on the balcony
That night was the only night we didn't eat in the formal dining room. Instead, we fed Max (and Kimber) at the buffet and then Peter and I went on a "date" to the nice steakhouse on board.
Apparently Kimberly to Max to the show in the main theater that night and he loved it. Every night after this he asked to go to the show after dinner.
Peter and I hit the photo gallery to find some of the pictures the multitude of photographers had taken of us.
Fancy meal
BIG steak
The food was delicious...but there was soooooooo much of it!
Our gorgeous desserts.
It was a great meal.
