Baby update

Look at those chubby cheeks - don't you want to just nibble on them? :)

Video - This is what Max does every morning when I walk him down the hall to the parking garage.  He talks and talks and talks.  It's super cute.  I tried to capture it (sorry it's shaky) and what he does at the beginning is what he usually does the whole time.  He didn't quite talk as much this time because I think me videoing distracted him.  I just wanted to get it recorded because he really does do it EVERY morning and has for awhile.
He likes to chew on his thumb in the corner of his mouth
 Checking out Hayden
This smile makes me laugh - it's so flat and skinny but you still see those bottom teeth
Just wanting to touch his momma

Video - He has started cooing before he falls asleep. You think that he's not going to go to sleep he talks so much and then all of a sudden he turns his head and falls asleep. He even does this in the middle of the night after he's nursed and I lay him back down.  This particular video was taken at 5 am in the morning.

Here's some things about Max lately.
- As the video shows, he coos each time we are in the hallway between our apartment and the parking garage
- His "crawling" right now involves pushing off with the tips of his toes and then rolling to the side
- He isn't taking baths in his baby bathtub anymore.  He only takes baths in the bathtub (with me in there with him).  He has play toys but doesn't really play with them much but he does eat them.  He stays pretty calm the entire time.
- So far, I have made Max the following organic baby food - carrots, bananas, butternut squash, cauliflower, green beans, and avocado.  He has also had rice and oatmeal cereal.  He loved it all, except avocados.  He did not like them AT ALL.  I find that funny because I had avocados nearly every day when I was pregnant.  He liked cauliflower and not avocado.  Crazy!
- Max's digestive system has struggled to adjust to all the new solid foods (even though I only have him trying a new food every few days).  He struggles to poop and is sometimes going 3 days without having a bowel movement.  Then, when he finally does the poor thing has to work really hard and sometimes cries out in pain.  When it goes more than 2 days, I get out the doTerra oils and they work great - we usually have some action happening within an hour.  I love doTerra!  I can talk about how awesome the oils are for hours.  If you want to know about them, let me know.  I will educate you about their greatness!
