Time for a haircut

Someone got a haircut!  Who?  Kallie?  Peter?  (Certainly not Max, that boy doesn't have any hair to cut!)

Wrong. :)  He had a couple hairs to cut!

I know, you will probably think I am silly.  While Max doesn't have an abundance of hair, he does have a little bit and some of it was starting to stick out because it was longer than the rest.  So I decided it was time for a hair cut.  Thus, 2 days before he turned 7 months old, Max got his first haircut.

But first, he had some fun playing with his cousins.

Look at those sweet toothless upper gums!
The racetrack can keep all 3 boys entertained

Haircut time!
We decided that the clippers were the best way to go.  Peter held Max and I held all the responsibility for not screwing up.  :)

Proof that I actually did cut some hair.  If you look closely at the left side of the blades, you will see tiny remnants of cut hair (No, I didn't keep any hairs).  Don't laugh.  It did look better afterward

Cute picture that shows how good he is at sitting by himself and also the dimple on his left cheek.
Max has two favorite toys.  This Baby Einstein turtle is one.  It lights up and plays classical music when you push the large buttons.
Video - I will sink to any low to get a giggle.(Check out the eyebrow raise at 35 seconds - - I LOVE when he does that, I find it so stinkin cute.)
Max's other favorite toy.  The stuffed giraffe will play the "ABC's" if you squeeze his belly.  Max enjoys him both when it's making music and when it isn't.  If he's fussing, just put this toy in front of him, squeeze it's belly and Max immediately stops fussing and is happy.

Video - This is commonly how Max "plays" with the giraffe when the giraffe isn't singing.
There is something so very special and tender when these chubby little fingers wrap around my finger.  Such a sweet, innocent, way that Max expresses his love back to his momma.
