Playing a little hookey

Sometimes, you just got to do it.  And the Monday Aja and Ken left to go home, March 12, (we were sorry to see them go!) was one of those days.  The weather was so amazing that I just couldn't spend my entire day cooped up in my office.  I had to get out and enjoy it - call it Spring Fever!

Britt made a perfect light, spring lunch with an Asian chicken salad (she sometimes puts it in cucumber cups) and a side of fruit

Britt and I took the boys to the park to enjoy the great weather
Silly boy didn't want the strap for his hat around his chin.

That night our good friends Tida and Jason were in town from Vegas so we went to Top Golf to hang with them and some other friends as well.  We didn't play the game, maybe next time we'll be brave enough to embrace looking like fools who don't know how to swing a golf club.  The weather was so lovely, it was as perfect way to spend a beautiful evening.

Video - Max was not a happy camper when we got home though.  He was MAD!  Here's a video so that you can remember that he's not always a cute, smiley, happy boy.  Although, I've got to say, he is happy the majority of the time.  It is so different than when he was under 3 months old and so much of his time was spent crying.  (Sorry it's dark, we were in a dark room so he wouldn't wake up which clearly didn't work.)
