Max is 1 year old! Part II - The unsuccessful photoshoot

I have never used Pinterest.  However, as Max's birthday came closer I wanted to do a photo banner and I decided to get on Pinterest and see if I could find some good ideas.  Well, I did but in my search I also found a bunch of other cute ideas that I wanted to incorporate into his birthday.

I saw this a couple different versions where the birthday kid was holding a sign that said "happy birthday" or "I'm 1 year old"...etc.  So I figured that would be super easy and super cute, I WAS GOING TO DO IT!

So I made my sign "Happy Birthday to me"...got my camera all ready...enlisted Peter's help...  Only thing left to do is get that perfect shot.

NOT SO EASY!!!!  I took 37 pictures and not one of them qualifies as that "perfect shot".  Disappointing but hey, my subject IS only 1 year old.  Enjoy this failed photoshoot!

So then I figured, let's have Peter hold Max AND hold the sign.  Then I just need to get Max looking at me with a cute face.

He pushed the sign out of Peter's hands
