Then I blog, and I complete another entry with the pictures I took during a specific week and the moments of that week come back to me. I hesitate because I think, "people have to be so bored with another blog full of pictures of Max at Brittany's". But then I remember that I am not writing for those that may read this blog, I am writing for ME. Of course it is nice that our family and friends that are far away can stay in touch with our lives but primarily this is my journal. This is how I will hold onto those moments that were fleeting and this is how all the time that has passed will mean something to me.
So to those of you reading this, go ahead. Skip this one. It's more of the same. And there will be more like this in the future, skip those too. I am loading these pictures for me and Peter (shout out to you Peter, thanks for reading my blog). I don't want to lose these moments. October 21 - October 26, 2012
Max in one of his Halloween t-shirts (it glows in the dark - does that make it more tolerable?)
Walking around
He's checking out the camera... what I see in this pic is his messy face and his pretty hazel eyes
He's shown more interest at Brittany's in holding and playing with the stuffed animals. I am not a big fan of stuffed animals so he has very few at home. After seeing this, I made sure that the few he did have were accessible to him but he wasn't interested in those at home. I think it's really cute seeing him carry the animals around.
Telling me something
He loves to sit in the middle of the nursing pillow.
Hitting himself on the head
Max is now a climber. He climbs onto whatever he can. I figured this time would come. He watches Landen climb up on things every day so of course he was going to pick it up. I had hoped it would come a little later though.
He climbed up onto Brittany's dishwasher!
This is the stool that the boys were pushing him around in earlier. He turned it over and climbed into he. He thought he was so cool. :)
Then he climbed into the car seat.
He got out of the car seat and climbed back into the stool...
...and back into the car seat...
He really likes wearing hats lately (which his cousins oblige)
He climbed onto the chair
Love this picture. I hope these boys remain good friends as they get older.
Landen putting a hat on Max.
Pushing the tricycle around because he's too little to climb onto it
(Whis week - January 2, 2013 he climbed onto it for the first time ever)
My handsome and oh-so-cute boy playing. Check out his feet and the cute way he's got his feet crossed. I know I am his mom so I am not an unbiased judge, but I think he's got a really cute face.
This is how he was drinking his milk. Super sweet.
I didn't realize Brittany was still giving him milk in the bottle so after I saw this, I went and bought some more sippy cups for her house and took home the bottles. He wasn't getting bottles at home and is too big to be getting them somewhere else.
There is nothing and I mean nothing boring about your blog. I love all the pictures and videos. I get to see Max grow and get to see you and Peter where otherwise I would not be able to because you are so far away. I love you
