Liebster

My cousin Ashlee nominated me for the Liebster Blog Award. Yeah, she better announce me as the winner after I finish this!

(Liebster is a German word that means favorite. This award is passed from one blogger to another as a way to tell them that you enjoy reading their blog--and they should keep it up!)

Here is what I have to do as a result of my nomination (shouldn't I get a prize instead of having to do work???):

1. Post 11 random things about myself.
2. Answer the 11 questions my nominator set for me.
3. Create 11 questions for my nominees.
4. Nominate 11 other bloggers with fewer than 200 followers (no tag-backs).
5. Go to each of their blogs to tell them about their nominations.

11 random things about myself:

1. The perfect way lately to order my burger at In-N-Out - with onions, ketchup instead of spread, mustard fried no pickles, add chopped chilies, well done.
2. I really enjoy weeding.
3. It's been more than a year since I have had fingernail polish on my fingernails.
4. I've never been to prom.
5. If I had unlimited time, I would like to learn to play the cello.
6. I have an unopened furbie in my office.
7. My favorite shampoo is Wen's Conditioning Shampoo.  It's AMAZING!!!!
8. I prefer steel cut oatmeal.
9. Max knows how to use Peter's ipad better than I do.
10. I enjoy General Hospital and DVR it every day. 
11. I refuse to call Ramen Noodles anything but "squiggles"

Ashlee's 11 Questions:

1. What did you do on your last date? We got takeout Mexican, made popcorn, and watched part of "Trouble with the Curve" in our media room.  I had to really think about this one, we don't go on dates anymore.
2. What was your GPA when you graduated from High School? 3.98
3. What is your favorite form of exercise? I enjoy running (or jogging since that's more of what I do) because I can do it anywhere and it doesn't have to take forever but if my schedule allowed, I would do Bikram Yoga all the time.
4. Do you care what way the toilet paper goes on the holder? Nope
5. On average, how many hours of TV and/or movies do you watch per week? 8? (It's hard to judge since everything I watch is on the DVR so it doesn't take me an hour to watch an hour show)
6. What is your favorite dessert? Anything chocolaty and warm
7. How many days per week do you eat the same thing for lunch? Maybe once.  It depends on what Brittany makes for lunch.
8. How long was your longest labor? Only had one...went into labor around 2 am, labored until 5 pm and then had a c-section.  So about 15 hours.
9. What super-hero-power do you wish you had? The ability to slow down time
10. What is your biggest fear? that something will happen to Maxwell
11. What is your favorite vacation spot? Rome, Italy
